Explore one of the most picturesque trails in Peru that reach Machu Picchu with Yoga practices before and after the hike in the first 3 days surrounded by these beautiful natural landscapes.

 

In detail:

DAY 1: Cusco - Mollepata - Challacancha - Humantay Lagoon - Soraypampa.

We will pick you up at your accommodation in Cusco. Pass through the towns of Izcuchaca and Limatambo before reaching Mollepata, where you can buy a light breakfast or stock up on water. Continue until you reach Challacancha, from where the 3-hour walk to Soraypampa begins. Make a stop for lunch and then walk about 1-2 hours to the Humantay lagoon where we will make an offering to the Spirit of this place and a meditation. Return to Soraypampa where we will have a gentle Yoga practice before the vegetarian dinner and spend the night in the camp with a tent well prepared for your comfort while living the adventure.

 

DAY 2: Soraypampa - Soyrococha - Salkantay - Huayracmachay - Chaullay.

Wake up with the first light of the day at 5:30 AM and after cleaning up and hydrating you we will start the day with another Yoga and breathing practice and have a quick but energizing breakfast. Begin a hike to the highest point of the trail, the Salkantay Pass (4580m or 15,000ft) where you will be able to appreciate the imposing snow-capped peaks of the Salkantay, Humantay, Tucarhuay and Pumasillo mountains. We will take some time here to offer a group office to the mountain or protective Apu and a small meditation. Descend the snake-shaped path that leads to the Huayracmachay camp, where you will make a stop for our vegetarian lunch. At the end of this exceptional walk, arrive at the town of Chaullay (2900m or 9514ft) to rest after a long day of walking where we will have a restorative Yoga practice. Spend the night in the camp with tent and vegetarian dinner.

 

DAY 3 -  Chaullay - Sahuayaco Beach - Lucmabamba - Santa Teresa (optional  Cocalmayo Thermal Baths)

After an energizing practice of Yoga and breathing, a comforting breakfast to continue the walk to the small town of La Playa through the valley of Santa Teresa. Stop here for lunch and then board a bus that will take you to the Santa Teresa campsite. You will arrive at the camp, where you can optionally enjoy the hot springs of Cocalmayo in Santa Teresa, which are medicinal and therapeutic waters (thermal baths or Yoga practice before dinner). Spend the night in the camp with tent and vegetarian dinner. 

 

DAY 4: Santa Teresa - Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes.

After a typical breakfast and our last Yoga practice you will start the walk towards the Hydroelectric plant through the bottom of the valley for 3 hours. Upon arrival, replenish with a vegetarian lunch. From Hidroeléctrica, begin a walk along the train tracks through a native jungle to Aguas Calientes, about 3 hours of walking. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will have free time before dinner to rest or walk around the town. 

 

DAY 5: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco.

Get up early to start the road to Machu Picchu by bus (20min) the Lost City of the Incas (Schedules depending on the capacity of the archaeological park, the objective being to visit it during the early hours of the morning). Take a 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu and the surrounding sites. Enjoy free time to take photos and take a look at the citadel. Leave Machu Picchu and return to Aguas Calientes by bus, according to the add-on. Once in Aguas Calientes you will board the train to Ollantaytambo where a transport will be waiting for you to gather the group and return to the city of Cusco. Return to Cusco at approximately 8:00 p.m. We will drop you off in the Plaza de San Francisco, in the historic center, near the Plaza de Armas where we will end our trip.

Important information:

- The complementary excursions to Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu Mountain are subject to availability. The local partner will contact you in case the option you have chosen is fully booked to offer you an alternative or cancellation

- In high season, tickets for the first shift may not be guaranteed. In this case, you will be provided with an alternative time, which may also result in a change of itinerary

- As it is a wellness trip, the consumption of alcohol and / or drugs (marijuana, cocaine, etc.) will be completely prohibited.

- For the second day, the personal option of accepting a microdose of Wachuma or San Pedro will be opened for a more present connection with the mountain and energy. Let's remember that these plants in the Andean tradition are medicine and teachers (not drugs)

For those people who have a call to participate in an Ayahuasca ceremony in a safe place, they will also have the possibility before or after this trip as long as they have the necessary time.

The second day is the most challenging day and for this there will be an emergency horse in case someone requires it. If you would like to do this tour only on horseback, the rental price is not included.

Payment Policies:

- The cost of this trip is $/500.00 USD or/.1850.00 soles.

- The trip has a PRIVATE SERVICE qualification, the group not being larger than 10 people and less than 6 people.

- The necessary payment to reserve YOUR space in the group and also for your entrance to Machupicchu is a minimum of 30% of the price without the option of a refund.

- Payment can be made through Paypal, Interbank account soles, BCP dollars.

- Once this is ready you will receive an email with your confirmation and a file to complete your information and any special requirements for the menu in case you suffer from any allergies.

- For the first trip (July 2 to 6) it is necessary to pay a maximum of 30% on June 7. Since the capacity of the Machupicchu Archaeological Park in the month of July is the highest. And for the second trip (July 16 to 21) it would be until June 20.
